In just 12 tracks, Georgie Bonds brings back blues in a way that only an aged master can. Ten original tunes (composed by Georgie and Neil Taylor of the Robbie Williams band) and two classic covers jump and jive to the swing of Georgie’s soulful, sweet voice, Taylor’s precise licks and a thumping band of blues essentials. He doesn’t just sing the blues - he is the blues. The aptly named Stepping Into Time takes you on a journey through the life of a Philadelphian troublemaker turned straight, a passionate songwriter, and a hardworking man. With the tenderness of B.B. King and a kick of swing, this album will remind you why you love the blues.
