WYCE Record Sale Donations 2025 (click for more info)

For a limited time, WYCE is accepting gently used record donations for our annual WYCE Record and CD Sale at the Eastown Street fair on Saturday, September 6th. 

Donations of your used vinyl LPs and 45s can be dropped off at the Community Media Center, 711 Bridge Street Northwest, during regular business hours of 10 AM to 6 PM, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 9 AM to 5 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  

All proceeds support West Michigan's only volunteer-powered, independent community radio station, WYCE!

The Grand Rapids Public Museum (GRPM) invites to plan a visit before the summer ends!

The museum's exhibit, Sharks, leaves after August 31. 

The exhibit invites families, students, and enthusiasts to encounter nine life-sized, scientifically accurate, life-like shark models, plus learn about sharks through artifacts and interactive displays.

This event is free with general admission. (*Kent County Kids get in free every day.)

This celebration marks the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and recognizes the men and women who served and sacrificed for our country. 

Activities include an Honor Parade and World War II flyover, lectures from World War II historians, a WWII film festival at Studio Park, and a Whitecaps night at LMCU BallPark.
