The City of Rockford is pleased to announce week #2 of the United Bank Rogue River Blues Series. 


The Series continues tonight with WYCE Jammie Award nominee Blue Soul Express, followed by the Out of Favor Boys performing next week.

The free series runs 10 weeks on Tuesday evenings, from 7 to 9 pm. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in to enjoy an evening of free music on the lawn. (Kayakers are welcome too!) Garden Club Park is located in downtown Rockford north of the Rockford Dam on Bridge Street. 

Information and the Blues Series lineup may found at "Rockford dot M-I dot U-S"  or on Facebook: "Rogue River Blues Series". The series runs until Tuesday, August 15th.

WYCE presents Local Spins Live at Speak EZ Lounge - every Wednesday night at 8pm! This series features a wide array of the best musicians in the West Michigan area, performing in a casual setting with no cover charge. 

Tomorrow night, Local Spins Live welcomes Desmond Jones, a five-piece funk/rock/jazz fusion band with original music centered around melodic guitar riffs, funky bass lines, groovy drum beats, and smooth saxophone. The group takes influence from Frank Zappa, The Grateful Dead, Phish, Charles Mingus, The Band, and Led Zeppelin.
