Jim Gustin & Truth Jones

Memphis

2017-04-21

Pretty nice blues album on this one, with some pretty awesome guitar playing by Jim Gustin. He also has a very deep raspy voice, reminiscent of some of the greats like Howling Wolf and Taj Mahal. The blues they play on this album is also nothing short of being as good as some of the albums by Howlin Wolf, Taj Mahal, and Tommy Castro. I really like how they don't forget about their communities as well. Both Jim and Truth are active locally and do benefit shows all the time to show how much they are involved. Several good songs on this album, like tracks 3, 4, 6, and 9.
