EEF BARZELAY

Bitter Honey

2006-02-07

“Anyone familiar with Clem Snide’s previous 5 records and live shows has come to expect Barzelay’s occasional invitation to cuddle in an unfurnished room. This two-part LP is the first devoted entirely to those moments.” - publicity

Once you spend an afternoon with a “Clem Snide” album, you cant help notice the odd ebb and flow from bitter cynicism and self-depreciation to warm sentimentality. Sometimes I feel like he’s the overstressed know-it-all coffee shop employee and I’m his dog.

This is Eef’s solo debut.
