The first full-length album from this Stillwater, Oklahoma band is full of avant-garde instrumentation and sad lyrics to make for a melancholy sound. Nice production abounds as cello is layered over melotron is layered over harpsichord is layered over...you get the picture. This is a nice, quiet album that I would describe as prog-folk. The tracks "End of the Year" and "Matador" being a bit more prog-gy than the rest. Reviewed by Rebecca Ruth.IAN MCLAGAN & THE BUMP BAND
