Local Scotty Spears The guitarist & vocalist from the popular Kalamazoo Rockabilly band the “Wild Woodys” steps out on this solo release playing all the instruments & performing all the vocal tracks. The easiest way for me to describe this disc is Junior Brown does Rockabilly. The music on this disc is completely infectious & if you have blood running through your body you will be running for the dance floor when Scotty takes the stage. It’s only March but I do believe Scotty should have his reservation already made for the next Jammie award ceremony as this disc is as solid as any nationally released Rockabilly release I have heard lately. - Gregg Saur
