The Honest Hour

Light, head-bobbin' grooves, catchy chorus hooks and guitar solos around every corner. Yes, boys and girls, it's a jam band! Most of these tunes have a southern, folk-rock feel that reminds me of Little Feat or The Band with a pop sensibility something like Bruce Hornsby.

"Roads" sounds the most like a single (for better or worse) while "Paul Henry" and "Honey Creeper" stick and and stay in your head.

While The Honest Hour may not be groundbreaking, these are good live songs played will by a good band. The album will help some fans in the WYCE audience who are still mourning the loss of Phish.
