KELLER WILLIAMS

Dream

2007-01-23

This energetic new release from Keller Williams finds him channeling Dave Mathews to some extent, armed with an all-star band of collaborators including Béla Fleck, Victor Wooten, John Scofield, Charlie Hunter, Fareed Haque, Bob Weir, Martin Sexton and the whole of the String Cheese Incident. The guitar playing is excellent and, and while the lyrical content is often stream-of-consciousness and not always coherent, the musical conversation is usually enough to keep the attention of your ears.
