2006-07-24

maad Wasif has been a member of Lowercase, Alaska!, and The New Folk Implosion. He’s also a guitarist for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs on tour. His self-titled release is his debut as a solo artist. With this album, he wishes to transform sad thoughts and feelings into something positive. "I want to show the threads that connect people," he says, "the emotions we all have." He says his music is meant "for that late night vibe or the early morning fear." – Ben Kleine
