The Polyphonic Spree

Together We're Heavy

2004-06-22

Don’t drink the Kool-Aid.
The Polyphonic Spree has returned with a whole new batch of songs, nay, production numbers on their 2nd disc, Together We’re Heavy, available July 13th.

This 29-piece “choral symphonic pop band” from Dallas, performing in flowing white robes, boasts a ten-member choir, a pair of keyboardists, a percussionist, bassist, guitarist, flautist, trumpeter, trombonist, violist, a French horn player and a theremin player.

The Polyphonic Spree is lead by former Tripping Daisy band member Tim DeLaughter, who writes the songs, leads the singers and, apparently, spikes the punch.
