For all intents and purposes, Citizen Cope is Clarence Greenwood - the multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer and vocalist for the band.

The new disc, The Clarence Greenwood Recordings, finds him continuing to carve a niche as a fresh urban voice - merging rock, pop, and bohemian hip-hop influences. Starting later this month, Cope will be on the road, opening shows for Robert Randolph and the Family Band.
