The Martino Conspiracy is the musical project of 23 year-old Chicagoan Tony Martino. A devout fan of Brian Wilson, 60s pop, 80s indie guitar jangle (ie. The Cure, REM, a hint of Smiths) and 90s alternative rock, Martino more or less wears his loves on his sleeves and proves thats it's not all that bad to do so. With a strong pop sensibility, Mr. Martino and Co. could easily break into commercial radio if programmers would allow any life to break into that stale format.
