MATTHEW RYAN

From a Late Night High Rise in Paris

2007-01-08

Why does this guy remind me of Drew Nelson? This is his fifth album here at WYCE—sixth if you count his pseudo release YOU SAID SATURDAY from early 2006. Has it really been that long since East Autumn Grin? That surprises me. This album has MR pretty much doing everything on his own, aside from calling in a few guests here and there. From Rock to Pop to Folk in style.-pb
