Los Angeles quartet, Warpaint, makes dark and delicate rock in its first full-length release, "The Fool". The vocal harmonies from Emily Kokal and Theresa Wayman sound as close as if they were double-tracked. Add effects, melodic rhythm guitar, somber bass, and some nice snare work, and you have something ethereal. All in all, this is a nice inaugural effort from the girls known as Warpaint.
