ALICE SMITH

For Lovers, Dreamers & Me

2006-11-27

Alice Smith’s debut album is nothing short of amazing; as she brings to the table a fusion of rock, pop, blues, and soul mixed with her deep, sultry voice, Smith really makes for a strong debut. She sounds like a mix between a more mature Joss Stone and Billie Holiday, as she uses her old school female blues voice with a modern rock/blues sound. Standout tracks include track 1 “Dream”, track 3 “Gary Song”, track 9 “Secrets”, and track 10 “Love Endeavor”. This is a solid album that blues and soul fans will be in love with. Lane
