Pascal Bokar

American Shores

2017-06-23

If you could imagine Jack Johnson style music with a little Caribbean Twist that is what you are getting here. I really enjoyed this music, as it reminded me of being in Jamaica or the Caribbean sitting on the beach relaxing. I could have listened to this album over and over. Pascal expresses his music to be a blend of West African Music mixed with American South or Delta music with a Jazzy spin. There are also some great musicians on the album who help contribute to this amazing sound like Keyboardist Steve Carter who played with George Benson and Bobby Womack. Also included is bassist Tony Saunders who played with Eric Clapton and David Crosby. Loved it and recommend picking it up, and to listen to all tracks on this shorter album.
