Halcyon Days

Bruce Hornsby will forever be linked to the string of Top 10 radio hits he composed in the late-80’s, among them the #1 songs “Mandolin Rain” and “The Way It Is”.

Conventional radio airplay isn’t much of an option for Bruce these days but he keeps to a consistent tour and release schedule. He’s been in-demand as a keyboard sideman, filled a two-year stint as a touring member of the Grateful Dead and now regularly appears with the Bruce Hornsby Band.

His latest release is Halcyon Days, out on Columbia Records. Bruce is once again in fine form, taking a page from the smart and cynical book of Randy Newman.
