Bobby G w/Curtis Grant Jr. & The Midnight Rockers

Still Standing

2017-05-18

Something shocking to me on this album is the fact that Bobby G is 72 years old, and this is his debut album. With that knowledge of the blues he has from back in the day, and all the well known artists, like Buddy Guy, Lightening Hopkins, and John Lee Hooker. This album is an example of those styles, as it sounds similar to Buddy Guy, even though his voice sounds similar to Tom Gray from Delta Moon. I thought it was very good, and enjoyed tracks 1, 3, and 10 the most on the album. Recommend picking this one up for sure.
