You can probably count the number of disposable singer /songwriters of the past decade or so on the fingers and toes of all of the poor soul’s who were conned into buying their records. Ms. Fisher, however, is not among those counted on endless digits. Keeping her instrumentation simple, her lyricism sharp and poignant, and her melodies and harmonies memorable, Claire Fisher is not to be discounted. Grand Rapidians (and the world, alike)!
