The names in this band may not be household names, but these veteran musicians in addition to their solo careers have played with and have had their songs covered by artists from Johnny Cash, to Taj Mahal, Bonnie Raitt , Jimmy Buffett and many more. The band is led by Big Al Anderson who spent many years as the lead guitarist and vocalist for NRBQ a band many considered to be to be the worlds greatest bar bands.Al joins forces with Pat McLaughlin who has worked with the Subdudes and the short lived super group Tint Town. The group brings a country twist with Shawn Camp who has his songs covered by George Strait as well as Brooks and Dunn. The group rounds out with drummer Greg Morrow & bassist Michael Rhodes who have worked with John Fogerty, Bob Seger, Joe Cocker & JJ Cale. This CD blends classic rock sound, with a twist of the crescent city on "Mamarita". A country feel with the appropriately themed "Take Me Back' A softer ballad sound with "My Baby" and ends with the humorous "Ding Dong". This is a great band effort and one of 2012's best musical surprises. Reviewed By: Gregg SaurKerosene Stars
