On this their third & in my mind there very best release, the Mammals do make a departure from their more traditional bluegrass & folksy sounds found on their first two releases. This CD has more of a rock edge even covering Nirvanas classic “Come As You Are” As in the past they aren’t afraid to let their Political side shine through such as on the Anti-War “Alone On The Homestead”. Though the Politics may be a bit more subtle than songs like “The Bush Boys” found on the Last CD. Once again you can find their fondness of the Latin & Cuban sounds on “Solo Le Pido A Dios”. This CD shows a great band that is not afraid to stretch their boundaries while not alienating & keeping their faithful listeners begging for more. Not a Bad track on this entire Disc so discover & enjoy. Reviewed By: Gregg SaurSam Kenny
