Well when you see the name Keith Richards, how can you not think about The Rolling Stones. One of the oldest longest running bands who have withstood the test of time. Despite them playing limited shows over the years, you can tell that there is still a fire burning inside some of the musicians, case in point. So Keith decided to put that fire to paper and start recording some tunes. I like the fact that he actually collaborated with Steve Jordan to help write some of these tunes. There is some variety on this album as a couple of tunes have some reggae feel to it, but for the most part you are getting a stripped down kind of folk feel to this album. Structuring the album around one particular instrument, like Keith's guitar, to me just doesn't show a lot. I would have liked to see more of a band involved with this album, but hey he's Keith Richards so what can i say!!!
