This is the fourth album from this Detroit-based rock band. It's not quite so proggy prog-rock. Their website compares them to Flaming Lips and Death Cab for Cutie, which I can see to some extent. The album starts nicely with "Everyone Knows", but it seems to fizzle halfway through as the songs begin to sound a bit too similar. It's a nice enough release, though, with decent production, good musicianship, and occasional odd time signatures. Reviewed by Rebecca Ruth.THE FAINTING GENERALS
