Steppin' In It

Hidden in the Lowlands

2004-07-28

Lansing, Michigan’s Steppin’ In It emerges as a national force with their second independent release “Hidden in the Lowlands”.

Here the rootsy quartet is working with producer Sally Van Meter to take a tour through a full Americana palette including western swing, country, country blues, Cajun and some instrumental approaches we can’t quite categorize.

Steppin’ In It’s prowess is leading to higher profile festival gigs throughout the summer, including appearances at Wheatland, the Mountain Stage NewSong Festival in West Virginia, the Telluride Colorado Bluegrass Festival and Oklahoma’s Woody Guthrie Folk Festival.
