Rockferry

2008-09-01

This is probably one of the more interesting CD’s I’ve reviewed. When I first listened to it, I couldn’t help but think “No, this one should not even be in our rotation.” And I put it aside for a few days. While sitting here I turned on my music player and before long found a fascinating number of cuts. The more I listened to this the better it sounded and now I listen to it quite often. After some reading on her she reminds me of the late Eva Cassidy. Another artist that insists on doing her music. Some of the cuts are almost jazzy and yet the majority is Pop. There are seriously no bad cuts on this CD and unless I’ve been distracted there are no FCC violations either If you're the only one that knows you're afraid, you're brave. BG
