This is Boston-based singer-songwriter Jess Klein’s 4th release and her first since 2000’s Draw Them Near.Between releases she collaborated with composer Peter Malick and toured the US with Voices on the Verge, a group of like-minded artists that included Erin McKeown, Beth Amsel and Rose Polenzani.
The native New Yorker and past Hat Trick participant took up songwriting while in college and has spent the better part of 10 years working on her craft. Her new release showcases a matured voice and a willingness to venture from folk to pop to R 'n B and back.
The return of Jess Klein hits stores February 8th.
