Ray Goren

Slaves To The Money

2016-11-28

Slave To The Money, is a slow burn and eccentric fury blues album. Goren rocks machete-treble twang and battered by unhurried like drum rolls. Heavy blues feeling with tension and turmoil in each track. Straight-arrow rock with a hot chorus. Themes of distress and payoff. Sounds like a cross between Traffic & Stevie Ray Vaughan. Tracks that I liked best are Good To Me, Cash and Gold, and As Long As You Don't Let Me Go.
