If you are familiar with Anders Osbourne, and you enjoy his music, then i would say this is right up your alley. There is some very distinct similarities within this album. I do like the additional saxophone, harmonica, and that Stand up bass is what separates them from everyone else. There is quite the variety on this album with some Bo Diddly beats coming through on a tune, as well as some Americana style music, expressing their feelings on the Jim Crow laws and Civil Rights Movement. Also they like to throw in some beats from Little Feat as well to give even a little bit more variety to this album and their music. Its not bad, a lot of short tracks, but pretty decent overall. Check out tracks "Run John Run", "Nag Nag Nag", and "O Katrina" as they were my favorites on the album.
