HERZOG

Boys

2014-06-02

Herzog's third release, Boys, doesn't require much thought to enjoy or to review.  With lyrics about drunken nights, buying weed and metal-heads, it is obviously geared toward juveniles with Y chromosomes (thus the title?). Boys offers fist-in-the-air hooks with vocals that are sung, not screamed, yet they still fit nicely.  Simply put, this Cleveland band makes good-time rock-n-roll.   Rebecca Ruth
