Soulful and driven, T-Bird & The Breaks strut to the tune of southern funk. The miniature big band has a serious feel for funk and dance and has attained a strong local following in their hometown of Austin, Texas. Lead by gravelly, strong-voiced T-Bird, and backed by a band of horns, tight backup singers, a steady rhythm section and varied guitar techniques, Harmonizum (to be released January, 2015) is a grooving throwback to funk roots. A feel-good record of 11 original tracks and a cover of Elvin Bishop’s “Fooled Around And Fell In Love.”
