SUMMER CAMP

Welcome To Condale

2012-04-03

UK duo, Summer Camp, consists of Elizabeth Sankey and Jeremy Warmsley. Apparently interested in American culture of the 1980’s, they’ve attempted to take us back in time to those days of teenage compulsions. The first full-length release, Welcome to Condale, is 80’s synth-pop, at first easily dismissed, until learning more about the concept. Condale is a fictional California town, occupied by fictional people, characterized by old photos, letters, and newspaper clippings on the Summer Camp website (www.wearesummercamp.com). If you have any nostalgia for the 1980’s, check out the website or let the music take you there. Rebecca Ruth
