Steel Pulse

African Holocaust

2004-08-17

U.K. reggae legends Steel Pulse are back with African Holocaust, their first release since 1997. Led by songwriter and singer David Hinds, Steel Pulse rose from modest beginnings in impoverished Birmingham, England to become one of the world’s premiere reggae acts.

The band rose to fame during the UK punk era fueled by their aggressive stance of protest. Similar themes are addressed in their recent music, with the new album examining the history and conditions of oppression among the African people.
