When i started reading up on this girl and how she started writing some of the songs that came on here, i had a deep understanding. She was going through a bit of a writers block and decided to get away from everyone and head to the Joshua Tree. She wrote most of the album there. I feel the record is a little slow going, but i also feel that she accomplished what she wanted to. It was soft, quite, and very heartfelt in my opinion with a lot of her vocals to match the beats. Good vocals, just a little slow.
