Produced by Richard Guttehrer (Blondie, Richard Hell) and recorded with Sune Rose Wagner (Ravonettes), is Dum Dum Girls' fourth EP, End of Daze. The band is fronted by Dee Dee (real name, Kristin Gundred), whose dark, yet 60's pop-inspired vocals are layered over drums and fuzzy guitars, creating a crescendo of noise. The band cites such influences as The Ronettes, Siouxie and The Banshees, and Mazzy Star. All of these influences can be heard here. End of Daze is all original songs, with but one cover, the highlight of this release, the remake of Strawberry Switchblade's "Trees and Flowers". Rebecca Ruth
