Her name may be Teeny but this wonderful singer’s voice is anything but. On Teeny’s third release she plays Homage to two of her biggest influences, Big Mamma Thornton and Big Maybelle. Just like Teeny, Big Mamma & Big Maybelle were larger then life but neither was given the notoriety or appreciation they deserved. Several of the tracks on this disc were either written or preformed by these two blues legends and Teeny shows her own appreciation with the title track the “Two Big M’s” Many of the songs are standards & will be familiar to most fans of the blues. It is the power & soul of this very talented singer from Dayton Ohio that makes this CD shine on its own. Reviewed By: Gregg SaurANDERS OSBORNE
