One chillin’ Brazilian. He has collaborated with Laurie Anderson, David Byrne, Brian Eno, Bill Frisell, and Arto Lindsay, but I promise he is not a total weirdo! Cantuaria’s main gig for 10 years was backing drummer/percussionist for Caetano Veloso. His style has been called “post-electronica acoustic.” Ryuichi Sakamoto is a significant contributor on this album. -Pete
