Mint

Magnetism

2006-04-19

Rolling in the whiny-crooner sound make popular by Death Cab and a variety of others, Mint sets out with its second album Magnetism. The disc contains smooth folk rock along with intriguing lyrics that makes for a good listen. However, for those sick of bands in this genre all sounding alike, this disc certainly blends in with countless others out in the whispy-rock scene. If you want to give Mint a try, check out #2 “Ah, you left me”, the witty #7 “I’m a Traffic Light”, and the stripped-down #11 “I’m in love ect”.
