Inara George

All Rise

2005-03-01

Yet another second generation artist makes her way into the WYCE library.

It’s the first appearance of Inara George, daughter of late Little Feat frontman Lowell George, and her new record All Rise.

Though Lowell died of a heart attack when Inara was just five years old, the George household remained open to the many musicians who had touched their lives.

An artistic upbringing led Inara to theatre studies and musicianship. Now at age 30, she brings us a lovely offering of atmospheric pop.

She’s joined by soundtrack producer Michael Andrews, whose work has previously been heard on the film Donnie Darko and the TV series Freaks and Geeks.
