Formed in 2005 in Washington, D.C., Georgie James' indie-pop is untainted by corporate radio, revealing an innocent singer-song writer fusion that fits like a glove. "Places" summons generational inspiration from a variety of pop gods like The Kinks' brand of sunshine pop to the musings of the Talking Heads.
