Dan Cunningham

Appalachian Song

2017-08-10

A Very acoustic and singer songwriter style for sure on this album, which is pretty good overall. Although there are only a few "New" Tracks on this album I felt it had a good mix overall. I loved the song Devil Anse as it refers to the Hatfields and Mccoy's, which is always enjoyable. Dan also speaks about the legendary John Henry who worked in the C&O Tunnel and such. These songs really show he pays homage to the traditional tunes and some of the Great moments in the history of our country. I love the backhills/country feel this album has, it makes it unique for sure. Check out tracks 2, 4, 5, 8, and 9 for my favorites.
