Gail Ann Dorsey has established herself as a session and touring bassist over a career that has spanned 20 years - working with Tears for Fears, Bryan Ferry, Dar Williams, The Indigo Girls and, for the last 10 years, on tour and in the studio with David Bowie.

Now she's returning to the solo route with her first release since 1992 and her third overall. I Used to Be appears on her independent Sad Bunny label. The disc features two collaborations with Roland Orzabal of Tears for Fears along with a mix of pop and soul compositions.
