Sidney Jacobs

First Man

2017-01-19

I thought this was a pretty cool Jazz album. I like hearing some lyrics to go with some relaxing Jazz, it was pretty neat and not something i normally get to review. He has a deeper voice, which gives a bit of an older school feel to it. Sidney does some really cool covers as well on this album, including a classic like "My Favorite Things." It really has a nice feel to it, with a lot of variety throughout the entire album. It changes direction a few times, and really throws you a curve right when you think you have them figured out. Not too bad, i really liked tracks 2, 9, and 13 the most overall.
