Mainly known for his work on the B-3, the release featured Goldings primarily on the piano. He also plays Wurlitzer, Hammond B-3, Hammond organ, harmonium, accordion and glockenspiel. He’s joined by Ben Allison on bass and Matt Wilson on drums and percussion.Quartet features 12 tracks including interpretations of Bjork’s Cocoon, Gabriel Faure’s Au Bord de L’eau, and Thelonious Monk’s Jackie-ing, and is rounded out by Madeline Peyroux singing W.C. handy’s Hesitation Blues. -P
