Cibelle

The Shine of Dried Electric Leaves

2006-05-08

“see-BELL-ee” Cibelle makes use of a variety of elements to create a unique sound. Imagine a collaboration among Tom Waits, Madeline Peyroux, Bebel Gilberto and Architecture in Helsinki and you’re halfway there. The album is packed with acoustic instrumentation, shaped by electronic processing, with creative use of miscellaneous items like kids toys peppered throughout. -Pete
