Bruce Cockburn's 29th album has been called "wide-ranging, playful and adventurous, eager to take chances and happy to push limits." Some of the songs contain political themes, but rather than pointing a finger, Cockburn focuses on painting a portrait with his words. He tries to evoke the conscience instead of placing blame. This album also has a few instrumental tracks, including "Nude Descending a Staircase" which is named after the abstract painting by Marcel Duchamp. – Ben Kleyn 1. slight sexual reference 6. after 10pm 7. 10 no play
