This talented artist who has previously toured with Bob Dylan and John Hiatt is continuing to personally progress musically and artistically with this stripped-down album. Notably, Karlzen successfully covers Tom Waits’ “Heart of Saturday Night” on track 8 and Paul Westerberg’s touching “Skyway” on track 3 without forcing anything.
