NEKO CASE

Fox Confessor Brings the Flood

2006-02-08

This kind of album is all Neko, back to the basics. She’s been busy for awhile ditching the Sadies for with her Canadian supergroup pals the New Pornographers, but the songs have been building up and they need to go somewhere.

Neko doesn’t waste any space on this album, her distinctive voice belts out heartfelt lyrics complemented by the way she expertly handles that guitar. She’s joined by friends such as Dexter Romweber, a couple of guys from Calexico, a guy from the Band, a guy from Giant Sand, and even an old buddy from the Sadies.

She’s like, the cool twangy singer who goes to rock shows and parties all night. Michael, can we book her?
