Just a quick history lesson, but Mark May was a Guitarist for Dickey Betts and Great Southern. So you are already starting out with a really folk/blues/southern rock feel to it before you even get into the music, and the Cd is definitely a good result of that background. There was not much i didn't like about this one as well, very blues for almost the entire cd. It flowed very well and you can certainly see the veteran musicianship coming out in the music. Loved it. Favorite tracks were tracks 1, 3, 4, 8, and 10.
