Michel Camilo & Tomatito

Spain Forever

2016-11-10

Definitely a solid Jazz album here that really just moves seamlessly from track to track without you really even knowing you are moving into another track. These two artists really know how to play off one another, and where each other is going with the music, which is a solid compliment to their 20 plus year relationship. I love how they pay Homage to Egberto Gismonti by playing "Agua E Vinho" on the first track. As many of you know the first track on the one which sets the tone for the album in many cases, and putting this as track one shows how important it was to them. Very Solid, i enjoyed the entire Album. I would really say this is more like World Jazz with the Brazilian/Spanish influences.
